Each day in the 'crowded corner’ of Mong Kok, Hong Kong, a peculiar happening takes place—on a bridge that links the train line with the MOKO mall, people stop, turn their faces to the setting sun and find a few seconds to gaze at nature’s radiant display, perfectly framed by the surrounding skyline. It is this moment that the second iteration of Aesop MOKO—a far roomier residence than its diminutive predecessor—takes inspiration from.

Rich in warm sunset tones, the store—created by our in-house design team—comprises a series of elliptical shapes that guide visitors through the space. A large basin curves around the central column, offering the opportunity to experience formulations for the skin, hair and body first-hand, while recessed lighting on the shelves and ceiling imparts a tranquil glow. Toward the rear of the store, a range of characterful Eaux de Parfum are displayed against a backdrop of textured glass, its golden hue enveloping the amber bottles in a lustrous glow. Nestled beside this display is a private consultation area with en-suite sink, where customers may take a seat and speak to a consultant about their skin care needs.

In this particularly bustling area, Aesop MOKO is an environment that invites customers to appreciate a moment of tranquility and sensorial delight—be it via the texture of a replenishing balm, the aroma of an evocative fragrance, or the resplendent sight of day’s end.
