Aesop Harbour City is located in one of Hong Kong’s largest and most diverse retail centres. Created in partnership with Mlkk, its design was inspired primarily by local craft traditions.

A monolithic sculptural piece constructed in-situ from pebble wash—encompassing demonstration sinks, a bench seat, and sales counter—provides a strong visual anchor. Smooth on the surface and richly textured, pebble wash has long played an important role in shaping public spaces in Hong Kong and Southern China. This versatile material also furnishes several overhead storage shelves.

Opposite, product display shelving and cabinetry forms a series of curvatures, showcasing skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. The subtle colour palette focuses on the textural contrast between the pebble wash and the natural pigment lime paint that coats the ceiling.
